"My stay at Prairie Heights was unplanned. When I got over being away from my husband I came to realize it was for my own good. Everyone knew my name.it made you feel like they really knew you. The accommodations were comfortable for me. The therapy staff was loving & very caring. They even surprised me by singing Happy Birthday. The food was different than what I was used to, but I made do. At first I was bummed by short visiting hours, but we made it work. All in all, I left Prairie Hights a new person with a repaired heart...❤️"
"I came to Prairie Heights for therapy after breaking my hip. This place is great, the therapy department is totally focused on the patient, and striving for the best result. I am able to go home 2 weeks after surgery with the confidence that I will continue to get stronger and independent. The patient care is top notch, with staff that is helpful and caring. I can't say enough about the excellent care I got there."
"My mother-in-law has been a resident of Prairie Heights on two separate occasions, plus she’s also been an out patient for rehab pre-COVID. The staff, from housekeeping to therapists and kitchen help to CNAs, has always gone above and beyond in administering care to my mother in-law. We had always heard that the rehab facility was the best in Aberdeen. Now, after having a loved one there we can totally see why. Prairie Heights truly puts their residents needs front and center. We never doubted the care that our loved one was getting. We would HIGHLY recommend Praire Heights. If anyone should have questions, I know that their admitting team is always on hand to answer any questions one might have. Thank you, Prairie Heights, for all you do in caring for our loved ones and for making our entire family feel so at ease having our mother/mother-in-law there."

"My home is here and after an accident that put me in the hospital and nursing home in Arizona. When I was able to come home I had to decide what nursing home. I will tell you I got the Hilton compared to where I was in Arizona. Prarie Heights was our choice. I can’t say enough good. The staff is amazing. Their therapy program is amazing. Food was good. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again if I had to."

"In response to the very negative comments made regarding my home (and Prairie Heights is my home) I would like to make it very clear that I am not a prisoner, and in the five years that I have lived here, I’ve been treated with kindness, respect and love. Even though I haven’t been able to be hugged by my family, I have been hugged very often by one of the staff. They are very aware of the need we as residents have to be close to our families and are making steps so that, one day soon, all that will be possible. "My mother fell and broke her hip and arm. After surgery, she was transferred to Prairie Heights Healthcare. From day one she was welcomed and received kind care. The nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and activity leaders have been awesome! Her successful improvement is totally due to the staff at this facility. "I spent 1 Month at Prairie Heights Health Care....after I had a Total SHOULDER Replacement. I received THERAPY everyday..but Sundays. Was I best thing I could have done for my Recovery ! Therapists were OUTSTANDING. FOOD WAS GREAT ! I would RECOMMEND Prairie Heights Health Care to ANYONE !!"
